Tremors felt in Balochistan's Barkhan, surroundings

Barkhan: Strong Earthquake Tremors were felt in Barkhan and surrounding areas on Saturday, causing panic among locals.

According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured a magnitude of 4.2 with a depth of 25 kilometers. The epicenter was located 27 kilometers northeast of Barkhan.

Local authorities reported that immediately after the earthquake, rescue and monitoring teams were placed on high alert to respond promptly to any emergency situation.

The Barkhan administration stated that, so far, no casualties have been reported as a result of the earthquake. However, fear and anxiety persist among residents, who are taking precautionary measures.
