Hollywood actor Penn Badgley opens up about reading Holy Quran
‘It’s true that I have a Holy Quran on my nightstand. I often read its verses and reflect on them.’


(Web Desk): Famous American actor Penn Badgley, known for his roles in hit TV series ‘Gossip Girl’ and ‘You’, has revealed that he reads the Holy Quran and keeps it on his bedside table while sleeping.
In a recent interview with American media, the 38-year-old actor shared that he owns many books containing classical writings. During the conversation, Badgley stated, “It’s true that I have a Holy Quran on my nightstand. I often read its verses and reflect on them.”
He also admitted that in addition to reading the Holy Quran, he performs the long obligatory prayer from the Bahá’í Faith daily.
“I have the Bahá’í long obligatory prayer, which takes around 15 minutes to recite. I have memorized it and now I can complete it in just 9 minutes,” Badgley said during the interview.
It’s worth noting that Penn Badgley married American singer and actress Domino Kirke in 2017. The couple has a 4-year-old son.
