Qatar supports a policy of de-escalation in the region and hopes that diplomatic efforts will help lower tensions

(Web Desk): Qatar's Prime Minister has expressed support for Pakistan’s initiatives aimed at reducing tensions with India.
During a meeting with Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Qatari Prime Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim stated that Qatar supports a policy of de-escalation in the region and hopes that diplomatic efforts will help lower tensions.
He also praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, saying he is working diligently to steer Pakistan’s economy in the right direction.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi briefed the Qatari Prime Minister on India’s aggressive actions and said that Pakistan’s offer for an impartial investigation into the Pahalgam incident reinforces its principled stance.
