A clearance and search operation is underway in the area to hunt down the terrorists and bring them to justice

Rawalpindi: Seven brave soldiers of Pakistan embraced martyrdom in a cowardly attack by the banned outfit Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in Balochistan, according to a statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The incident occurred on May 6 in the Mach area of Kachhi district, where terrorists from the so-called BLA—an outlawed group allegedly operating at the behest of India—targeted a security forces vehicle using an improvised explosive device (IED).
According to the ISPR, the attack claimed the lives of seven soldiers: Subedar Umar Farooq, Naik Asif Khan, Naik Mashkoor, Sepoy Tariq Nawaz, Sepoy Wajid Ahmed Faiz, Sepoy Muhammad Asim, and Sepoy Muhammad Kashif Khan.
Following the attack, a clearance and search operation is underway in the area to hunt down the terrorists and bring them to justice.
The ISPR condemned the heinous and cowardly act, vowing that those responsible will be held accountable. The spokesperson reaffirmed that the Pakistan Army, law enforcement agencies, and the nation remain resolute in their commitment to thwart every attempt to disrupt peace, progress, and stability in Balochistan.
“These sacrifices of our courageous soldiers further strengthen our resolve. India and its proxies’ malicious intentions will, Insha’Allah, be defeated by the bravery, unity, and resilience of Pakistan’s security forces, institutions, and people,” the statement concluded.
