‘PTI founder had instructed Junaid Akbar to resign from the position’


(Web Desk): PTI leader Junaid Akbar has resigned from his position as Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC). According to sources, he submitted his written resignation to PTI Chairman Gohar Ali Khan.
While the party has yet to issue an official statement regarding the reasons for the resignation, sources indicate that the decision was made in line with internal party directives and organizational strategy.
During his tenure as PAC Chairman, Junaid Akbar led proceedings on audit reports of several key government departments and projects, and brought to light numerous cases of corruption.
It is noteworthy that the founder of PTI had instructed Junaid Akbar to resign from the position. According to sources, this written directive was conveyed to the party leadership through Aleema Khan.
