WhatsApp introduces ‘Allow Sharing’ feature for status updates
Users will be able to do so only if they have enabled the ‘Allow Sharing’ option

(Web Desk): WhatsApp has recently introduced a new feature that allows users to share their status updates with others.
According to reports, users will be able to do so only if they have enabled the "Allow Sharing" option.
Through this new "Allow Sharing" feature, users can permit others to share their status updates. This setting will be disabled by default to protect users' privacy.
When someone views a status where "Allow Sharing" is enabled, they will be able to repost it to their own status.
WhatsApp has designed this feature in a way that ensures the original user's phone number or other personal information is not revealed during resharing, in order to maintain user privacy.
Additionally, WhatsApp has provided users with the option to share their status updates on Instagram and Facebook through the "Accounts Center".
