(Web Desk): The Supreme Court of Pakistan has issued a notification regarding the summer holidays, announcing that the court will be closed from June 16 to September 8.
According to the details, the notification issued by the Supreme Court specifies that the summer holidays will run from June 16, 2025, to September 8, 2025.
The Islamabad High Court and subordinate courts have also announced their holidays.
The notification states that judicial offices will remain open during the summer break, and important cases will be scheduled for hearing by available benches during this period.
It is worth noting that recently, the Supreme Court of Pakistan announced a reduction in the summer holidays.
In a statement issued by the Supreme Court, it was mentioned that to reduce the backlog of cases, Chief Justice Yahya Afridi used his powers under Supreme Court Rules 4, Order Two to decide on shortening the summer holidays for the Supreme Court.
