Two sides discuss situation on the ground

Islamabad: The Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of Pakistan and India established contact via a hotline on Wednesday afternoon, marking the third such communication between the two countries since the ceasefire was agreed upon.

Meanwhile, that several key global capitals remain in active contact with both countries, urging them to avoid escalating tensions and to take early confidence-building measures (CBMs) to pave the way for formal and high-level dialogue.
