Peshawar: It has been decided to plant fruit and indigenous trees across the province to restore the natural environment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Advisor KP Barrister Saif said that the Chief Minister has issued a letter to the administrative secretaries, commissioners, and Deputy Commissioners informing them of the decision to plant fruit and indigenous trees across the province to restore the natural environment.
Barrister Saif stated that the species of bulbul, meena, hudhud, and other local birds are endangered. Rare birds have left Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to the lack of fruit trees.
He added that the Chief Minister has directed planting trees in government offices, colonies, and other places. The departments have been instructed to start a plantation campaign in the monsoon.
