Both sides discuss bilateral relations, trade cooperation, regional peace, and cultural ties

(Web Desk): Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced plans to further strengthen trade cooperation with Türkiye.
She made the remarks during a meeting with Türkiye’s Ambassador Irfan Nazir Oghlu. During the meeting, both sides discussed bilateral relations, trade cooperation, regional peace, and cultural ties.
CM Maryam Nawaz expressed gratitude for Türkiye’s unwavering diplomatic, moral, and strategic support in the face of Indian aggression. She emphasized that the people of Pakistan will always remember Türkiye’s unconditional backing during recent tensions with India.
It is worth noting that during the recent Pakistan-India escalation, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan openly supported Pakistan on all fronts and described Pakistan as a brotherly nation. Following Pakistan’s victory, public rallies in support of Pakistan were also held in Azerbaijan, with citizens reaffirming their strong commitment to Pakistan.
After Türkiye’s open support for Pakistan, a boycott campaign against Turkish and Azerbaijani products has started in India. Indian media is urging the public to avoid goods from these countries, portraying Türkiye and Azerbaijan as emerging close allies of Pakistan.
