Trees, signboards, and roofs fell in several places

Islamabad: After the intense heat, the weather turned pleasant with rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar.
Accidents due to thunderstorms and lightning also occurred in Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda, and other districts, in which three people, including a child, died, and 12 were injured.
Thunderstorms and lightning accompanied by rain occurred in Murree, as a result of which trees, signboards, and roofs fell in several places, while the power supply was suspended in various areas.
It is pertinent to note that the Meteorological Department has predicted that the heat wave will continue in most parts of the country.
