Pak-India DGMOs establish contact, discuss option to bring militaries back to peacetime position
DGMOs of arch rival countries communicated third time via a hotline after ceasefire agreement

Islamabad: The Directors General of Military Operations (DGMOs) of Pakistan and India established another communication after ceasfire, security sources said on Tuesday.
According to sources, the DGMOs of both countries were in contact on Monday to move their respective armed forces back to routine positions.
They further said that the return of Pakistani and Indian forces to peacetime positions marks the next phase of the ceasefire process.
It is worth noting that following aggression from the Indian side, the forces of both countries had moved to confrontational positions.
Recently, the DGMOs of arch rival nations also communicated via a hotline—this being the third such contact since the ceasefire agreement.
