DI Khan: Two policemen were martyred in a terrorist attack on the New Sabzi Mandi police post in Bannu district.
According to the DPO Bannu, the terrorists blew up the main gate of the police post with explosives, after which the terrorists entered and a heavy exchange of fire took place.
The terrorists’ firing also caused severe damage to the windows and solar panels of nearby shops.
According to rescue officials, an electricity transformer installed in the police post fell from the pole cutting off the power supply to New Sabzi Mandi, and there was chaos inside the police post.
As mobile internet service in Bannu remained suspended for the fourth day, local journalists also faced severe inconvenience.
