PTI felicitates General Asim Munir for promotion to Field Marshal

Islamabad: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has congratulated General Asim Munir on being promoted to the rank of Field Marshal.

Chairman PTI Barrister Gauhar said in a statement that the decision to elevate General Asim Munir to the rank of Field Marshal is welcome. The general played an excellent role in the current tension against India, and appreciates the role of the armed forces against India.

He stated that the Pakistani forces responded with the best strategy against India.

It is pertinent to note that yesterday, the federal cabinet had approved the promotion of General Syed Asim Munir to the rank of Field Marshal.
