Rawalpindi: Director General (DG) Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has said that India has attacked Nur Khan Airbase and a few other places, but Pakistan's air capability is fully restored and functional.

According to the report, the famous American newspaper New York Times, said in its report that after India's unilateral missile attack on May 7, Pakistan showed restraint and took limited actions to defend itself. The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down 6 Indian warplanes in an effective retaliation.

While talking to the New York Times, DG ISPR said that Pakistan is a peace advocate, and Pakistan is a responsible state that advocates peace in the region.

DG ISPR stated that there is contact between the senior military officers of the two countries, and an effective mechanism is active. A few places, including Nur Khan Airbase, were targeted, but Pakistan's air capability is fully restored and functional.

DG ISPR added that Pakistan has shown transparency about its casualties and losses, asking if India is also showing such honesty.

The New York Times said that Pakistan has shown responsibility by respecting the ceasefire, but India's provocations continue.
