KSE-100 Index hits intra-day high of 142,106, closes at 119,931 with a 960-point gain

(Web Desk): Today was a positive trading day at the Pakistan Stock Exchange. During the session, the KSE-100 Index reached an intra-day high of 142,106 points, but eventually closed at 119,931 points, marking a gain of 960 points.
A total of 667.6 million shares were traded today, with transactions amounting to Rs26.62 billion — the highest daily trading volume of the week.
The market capitalization also increased by Rs122 billion, reaching a total of Rs14,454 billion.
