An official notification has been issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Lahore in this regard

(Web Desk): In preparation for Eidul Azha, authorities in Lahore have decided to establish one permanent and five temporary cattle markets for the buying and selling of sacrificial animals.
An official notification has been issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Lahore in this regard.
According to the details, a total of six cattle markets will be set up in Lahore this year. The permanent cattle market will be established at the traditional location of Shahpur Kanjran, where, as in previous years, large-scale trading of animals will take place.
As per the DC Lahore’s notification, the five temporary cattle markets will be set up in the tehsils of Wagha, Nishtar, Ravi, Cantt, and Raiwind.
The administration is taking steps to ensure better facilities for citizens, including traffic control, sanitation, and security arrangements. Prospective buyers and animal traders have been urged to conduct business only at designated sites to avoid traffic congestion and cleanliness issues in the city.
