Unknown assailants attack police post in Bannu, constable injured

Bannu: Militants attacked the Fateh Khel police post in Bannu with heavy weapons late last night, in which one officer was injured.

According to Regional Police Officer Sajjad Khan, militants attacked the Fateh Khel police post late last night with heavy weapons. However, the accused escaped after a strong police response.

According to the police, RPO Bannu Sajjad Khan and DPO Saleem Abbas Kalachi led the police team, and SP CTD reached the spot to lead the operation.

Police said that a constable was seriously injured in the militants’ firing and has been shifted to the hospital.

According to the police, an alert has been issued for the arrest of the attackers.
