Lahore: A mother of five was burned to death by her husband following domestic quarrels in Khana area of the provincial capital on Friday, GNN reported.

Police said accused Zubair set his wife 38-year-old Naila Tahir on fire after an exchange of arguments and torture.
The woman succumbed to her burns at a hospital. The suspect dropped his five children at their maternal grandmother's home before the incident. Police shifted the body for autopsy.
Police are conducting raids to arrest the runaway suspect.
Capital City Police Officer Ghulam Mahmood Dogar took notice of the brutal incident and ordered the Model Town SP to submit detailed report, lodge FIR and arrest the accused.
On the CCPO's direction, forensic teams reached the crime scene and collected necessary evidence.
