His appointment has been made under Rule 4(6), Rules of Business 1973


Islamabad: Pakistan Crypto Council Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bilal bin Saqib has been appointed as Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) Shehbaz Sharif on Blockchain and Crypto.
The Prime Minister’s Office issued a notification appointing Bilal bin Saqib, giving him the status of Minister of State.
Bilal bin Saqib’s appointment has been made under Rule 4(6), Rules of Business 1973.
It is pertinent to note that recently, Field Marshal General Asim Munir met Pakistan Crypto Council CEO Bilal bin Saqib.
The future of the country’s digital economy was discussed in the meeting.
Bilal bin Saqib had said that we are working for a generation that considers digital finance, decentralization, and AI as opportunities.
