London: Pakistani superstar Mahira Khan faced harassment during a promotional event for her new film ‘Love Guru’ in London, with videos also going viral on social media.
According to media reports, Mahira Khan had arrived in Ilford Town, London, with actor Humayun Saeed to attend the promotional event, during which, the security present there failed to control the crowd, and Mahira was harassed by some people.
Details of the incident came to light when Mahira Khan was seen trying to enter a store surrounded by a huge crowd in viral videos on social media.
During the shocking incident, Mahira was touched inappropriately by some people, to which the actress clearly looked upset.

According to media reports, Mahira Khan was touched inappropriately by a security guard and people inside the store when she entered the supermarket.
This incident occurred when the actress was heading towards the terrace to meet fans for a promotional event. However, it has also been claimed that despite the unfortunate incident, the promotional event continued as planned because the actors had been paid in advance for the meeting with fans session.
On the other hand, it is also reported that Mahira Khan signed the film but did not take any money from the promotional event held to promote it, while what happened during the event was surprising.
It has also been reported that a female reporter from a private media was also harassed at this event, who had filed a complaint about the incident and summoned the police.
