Visit follows the completion of his two-day official stay in Turkiye

Tehran: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in Tehran on Monday, continuing his four-nation tour aimed at strengthening ties with friendly countries and expressing gratitude for their support during Pakistan's recent conflict with India.
The visit follows the completion of his two-day official stay in Turkiye.
Upon arrival, the prime minister was received by Iran’s Interior Minister and the Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan. A guard of honour was presented by a contingent of the Iranian armed forces at the airport.
Prime Minister Shehbaz is accompanied by a high-level delegation including Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, Federal Ministers Mohsin Naqvi and Attaullah Tarar, as well as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi.
During his visit, the prime minister will hold a key meeting with Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian at the Saadabad Palace, where he will also be presented with a formal guard of honour. Talks will focus on enhancing bilateral cooperation in various sectors.
Additionally, the Pakistani delegation will express appreciation for Iran’s support during the recent India-Pakistan tensions. Prime Minister Shehbaz is also scheduled to meet with Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, during the visit.
