WhatsApp Web to get ‘Chat Media Hub’ for easier file access
This feature lets users view and manage all shared media and links from all chats in one place—no need to open each chat

(Web Desk): WhatsApp is preparing to introduce a new feature for its web version called the "Chat Media Hub," aimed at providing users with easier and quicker access to shared files.
According to a website that tracks WhatsApp updates, the Chat Media Hub will be a new section added to the sidebar of WhatsApp Web.
Through this feature, users will be able to view and manage all shared images, videos, GIFs, documents, and links from all chats in one place, without needing to open each chat individually.
Thanks to this feature, all media files—regardless of which chat they were shared in—will be available in one centralized location. Moreover, the name of the sender and the date the file was shared will also be displayed alongside documents and links.
Users will be able to sort files by date, size, or other criteria and search for specific files using captions.
Additionally, users can select multiple files at once to delete, download, or forward them, saving time and effort.
This feature will be especially useful for users who frequently need to find important files such as images or PDFs without going through each chat individually.
Furthermore, it will help with storage management, as users will be able to easily identify and delete large files.
Currently, the feature is in its early stages and is not even available in the beta version yet. WhatsApp has not announced an official release date, but it is expected to roll out to general users soon.
