The number of peacock deaths in the past eight days has reached 112


(Web Desk): Due to the intense heat in Tharparkar, 12 more peacocks have died.
According to local residents, Tharparkar is currently experiencing extreme heat, which is causing the peacocks to die. The residents reported that the peacocks died in the villages of Ujroei, Maghan Sand, Nibaro, and Bharao in the Nagarparkar area. With the ongoing heat, the number of peacock deaths in the past eight days has reached 112.
Regarding this situation, the Deputy Director of Poultry stated that a team has visited four villages in the Mithi tehsil. The local residents have been advised to give the peacocks powdered medicines mixed in water.
The Deputy Director of Poultry said that peacocks fall ill due to a lack of water and the extreme heat. He added that their team is working in the field according to the guidelines of the Wildlife Department.
