WhatsApp comes to iPad with video calls, screen sharing, and more
Meta is currently working on developing a version of Instagram specifically for iPad

(Web Desk): After a long wait, WhatsApp has officially been launched for Apple’s iPad.
Meta announced that WhatsApp is now available for users of the iPad tablet. With the new version, iPad users can make audio and video calls with up to 32 participants, share their screens, and use both front and back cameras during calls.
Previously, iPad users had to access WhatsApp via a web browser to use the messaging platform. Now, the native iPadOS app enables users to benefit from multitasking features like Stage Manager, Split View, and Slide Over.
These features allow users to view multiple apps simultaneously, browse the web while messaging, or perform other tasks without needing to close WhatsApp — something that was not possible on the mobile version.
According to WhatsApp, the new iPad app will also support the use of the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil.
Users have long demanded a dedicated WhatsApp app for iPad, and this new launch fulfills that request.
Reports also suggest that Meta is currently working on developing a version of Instagram specifically for iPad.
The new WhatsApp for iPad can be downloaded from Apple’s App Store.
