She also directed to closely monitor prices of chicken, vegetables, and pulses

Lahore: Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif has ordered to fix the price of bread according to the new price of flour.
Maryam Nawaz has directed to reduce the price of bread across Punjab due to the reduced price of flour.
In her statement, she ordered the Price Control Department to take immediate steps to reduce the price of bread, also directing it to closely monitor the prices of chicken, vegetables, and pulses.
Maryam Nawaz said that a poor child used to eat low-cost chicken once a week. If chicken becomes expensive, the poor will not be able to eat even once a week. I will not tolerate this at all. The price of bread will be brought to the lowest level in history.
The Punjab Chief Minister stated that the benefit of the reduction in the price of flour should directly reach the poor people. The new price of bread will be set in proportion to the reduction in the price of flour.
