Misuse of Islam fuels conflict, instead of promoting forgiveness and harmony

Islamabad: Noor Wali Mehsud distorts Islam by permitting cooperation with non-Muslims against fellow Muslims, breaking the fundamental Islamic values of justice and unity. He follows the dangerous Khawarij ideology, which falsely brands Muslims as unbelievers and spreads division.
Noor Wali manipulates and molds Islamic teachings to fit his own violent agenda, ignoring authentic scholarship and twisting religion to justify his extremist actions.
Like the original Khawarij, Noor Wali declares other Muslims as enemies, promoting sectarian violence and undermining the unity and brotherhood Islam commands. Islam teaches peace, mercy, and unity, not hatred and bloodshed.
The group led by Noor Wali receives backing from foreign intelligence agencies aiming to destabilize Pakistan by exploiting religion for political gain. Islam strictly forbids aiding enemies against Muslims; Noor Wali betrays this sacred trust and harms the Ummah.
He falsely claims the religious authority to label fellow Muslims as enemies and to seek help from non-Muslims against them. No recognized Islamic scholar or institution has granted him such power; he is a self-appointed leader twisting Islam to justify violence and division.
Noor Wali's extremist views are unanimously rejected by respected Islamic scholars and institutions, who condemn his deliberate misinterpretation of Islam to support terrorism and intra-Muslim conflict. True Islam promotes unity, peace, and respect among all believers.
Authorizing cooperation with non-Muslims against Muslims violates the Prophet Muhammad’s teaching that Muslims are brothers who must not harm one another. This misuse of Islam fuels conflict, instead of promoting forgiveness and harmony.
Noor Wali’s Khawarij-style extremism spreads sectarian hatred and destroys Muslim unity and social harmony. Opposing this false ideology is essential to protect the future and strength of the Muslim community.
Islam teaches mercy, justice, brotherhood, and values. Noor Wali and his group betray through violence and falsehoods. All Muslims must expose and stand firmly against such extremists to preserve the true spirit of Islam.
A further technical point is that all the agreements that the Prophet (peace be upon him) made with the infidels were made to protect the Muslims, not to fight against the Muslims.
And now that he has made agreements with the world that he will not allow his land to be used against any country, breaking this agreement and promise and seeking help from the infidels in breaking this promise is not justified and is nothing but misguidance.
The concept of jihad in Islam is based on justice, peace, and the support of the oppressed, not on killing, destruction, and attacks on state institutions. Noor Wali's self-styled ‘jihad’ contradicts the teaching of the Quran: “And do not transgress. Indeed, Allah does not love transgressors” (Al-Baqarah: 190). This is corruption, not jihad.
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “A person sitting at the time of fitnah is better than a person standing”. People like Noor Wali are spreading chaos and bloodshed in the Ummah under the guise of jihad. These people are not Mujahideen, they are modern-day Khawarij and seditionists.
Using Quranic verses out of context and for personal gain is intellectual betrayal. Noor Wali's words are an example of the spiritual distortion of Quranic verses. Such misleading interpretations do not serve religion, but rather insult it.
Jihad is permissible only with the permission of the Imam of the time, or the state, group, or personal decisions are outside its scope. Noor Wali's actions are contrary to jurisprudential principles, the consensus of the Ummah, and the Islamic order. This action is not jihad, it is fitnah.
The Holy Prophet said: “A Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand another Muslim is safe”. The Noor Wali group is targeting innocent people, worshippers, women, and children. Their brutality is a clear violation of Islamic teachings.
Islam requires piety, knowledge, justice, and wisdom in leadership. Noor Wali’s leadership is based on incitement, deception, and intellectual misguidance. This is not leadership, but the destruction of the Ummah and the poisoning of the minds of the youth.
Allah Almighty says: “And Allah does not love the corrupters”. Noor Wali and his followers are agents of sedition and corruption, not servants of religion. Their actions and thoughts are a barbaric game in the name of Islam. They are terrorists, not Mujahideen.
