One died as passenger bridge collapses at Khanewal railway station

Lahore: A portion of the passenger bridge at Khanewal Railway Station collapsed.

According to a railway spokesperson, a railway employee died and a woman was injured when a portion of the bridge collapsed.

The railway spokesperson said that the rescue operation has been completed, and the construction of the bridge will begin today.

The railway spokesperson further said that railway traffic is running as usual.
