He said that India's decision to unilaterally suspend Indus Water Treaty is condemnable

Dushanbe: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has once again made it clear to India that Pakistan will not compromise on its share of water.
Shehbaz Sharif, while addressing the International Glacier Conservation Conference in Dushanbe, said that there are 13,000 glaciers in Pakistan and their protection is very important. Half of Pakistan’s water comes from glaciers.
He stated that Pakistan’s glaciers are melting rapidly due to climate change. Despite having a very low share in the emission of toxic gases, Pakistan is among the 10 countries in the world that are most affected by climate change.
He added that in 2022, floods and torrential rains were faced due to climate change, and the ecosystem is also being affected.
The Prime Minister of Pakistan further said that developed countries should fulfill their responsibilities to address the challenge of climate change and increase investment in early warning systems in developing countries.
Discussing Indian water aggression, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that India's decision to unilaterally suspend the Indus Water Treaty is condemnable. Pakistan will not compromise on its share of water.
