Lahore: Police detained eight people for protesting and blocking Ring Road after a man and his wife were killed by their rivals in Lakhu Dehar on Friday evening.

Police baton-charged and tear-gased to disperse the protesters who blocked Ring Road near Mehmood Booti inter-change.
A physical scuffle took place between the protesters and anti-riot police. The couple was shot dead by their rivals over old enmity.
