10 people died, 30 were injured in rain and winds accidents


Peshawar: Details of the damage caused by rains and strong winds in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa since May 27 have been released.
According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), 10 people died and 30 were injured in accidents caused due to rain and winds. The dead included five men, three women, and two children, while the injured included 13 men, 10 women, and 7 children. A total of 34 houses were damaged, 32 houses were partially damaged, and two houses were completely destroyed.
The PDMA said that accidents occurred in Peshawar, Mardan, Swabi, and Shangla due to rains and winds. In addition, accidents were also caused by rains in Lower Dir, Swat, Torghar, Bajaur, Mohmand, Mansehra, and Haripur.
According to the PDMA, the rains are likely to continue until May 31.
