HSD will continue to retail at Rs254.64 per litre

(Web Desk): The federal government has increased the price of petrol by Re1 per litre for the upcoming fortnight, while keeping the high-speed diesel (HSD) rate unchanged. The revised prices came into effect on June 1, 2025.
According to a notification issued by the Finance Department, the new price of petrol stands at Rs253.63 per litre, while HSD will continue to retail at Rs254.64 per litre. The Finance Ministry stated that the pricing adjustments were made based on recommendations from the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and other concerned ministries.
