Arrested ISIS commander is accused of planning attacks on concerts and public places in Türkiye and Europe

(Web Desk): In a joint intelligence operation, Pakistan and Turkey have arrested a senior commander of the global terrorist organization ISIS.
According to Turkish media, the operation was carried out by Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and the Turkish intelligence agency in a region along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
Reports indicate that the ISIS commander, Özgür Altın — who operated under the code name Abu Yasir al-Turki — was apprehended during the operation. He is regarded as a key figure within the terror group.
Turkish media further reported that the arrested ISIS commander is accused of planning attacks on concerts and public places in Türkiye and Europe.
The reports also confirmed that the ISIS commander has been transferred to Türkiye for further investigation.
