Five special trains will be operated on the occasion of Eid

(Web Desk): The federal government has announced a special discount on train fares for three days during Eid al-Adha.
Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi, while speaking to the media, said that five special trains will be operated on the occasion of Eid.
Hanif Abbasi said that Pakistan Railways has achieved new milestones in its 77-year history and that the railway’s performance over the past eleven months has been remarkable.
He further noted that leased railway lands are now generating revenue, and in line with the Prime Minister's vision, Royal Palm is being outsourced. The bidding process will be transparent, with all bids opened in front of observers.
The Railway Minister also said that a budget of Rs1 billion has been allocated for eight railway hospitals, which are also being prepared for outsourcing. However, medical facilities for railway employees will continue to be provided free of charge.
