Fares will be reduced by 20pc


Lahore: Pakistan Railways has announced major relief for passengers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
According to a statement issued by the Railways Headquarters Lahore, Pakistan Railways has announced relief to provide concessions to passengers on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, according to which fares will be reduced by 20 percent on the first, second, and third days of Eid.
The 20 percent discount on fares by the Railways on the three days of Eid will be applicable on all trains and classes operated by Pakistan Railways. However, this discount will be available only on current bookings, not on Eid special trains.
The decision to discount has been made in light of the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Minister for Railways.
