Price cut for K-Electric is part of the March 2025 monthly adjustment


(Web Desk): Electricity prices have been reduced by Rs2.99 per unit for Karachi, while increased by Rs0.93 per unit for the rest of the country as part of the monthly adjustment.
The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has issued separate notifications regarding electricity price adjustments under monthly fuel cost adjustments.
According to the notification, electricity rates for Karachi have been reduced by Rs2.99 per unit, and this relief will be reflected in June’s bills for K-Electric consumers. It further states that the price cut for K-Electric is part of the March 2025 monthly adjustment.
Meanwhile, in another notification issued by NEPRA, electricity for the rest of the country has been made Rs0.93 per unit more expensive.
The increase applies under the April 2025 monthly adjustment for the rest of the country.
