General prisoners will be given special amnesty of 120 days


Karachi: The Sindh government has announced a special amnesty of 120 days for prisoners on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha.
The Sindh Home Department has also issued a notification of a 120-day amnesty for prisoners, according to which Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has announced a special amnesty for prisoners.
On this occasion, Murad Ali Shah said that general prisoners will be given a special amnesty of 120 days, however, prisoners involved in murder, terrorism, rape, kidnapping, and financial corruption will not be eligible for amnesty.
According to the Sindh Chief Minister, the amnesty will apply only to general prisoners; death row prisoners will not be included in this relief.
In addition, this order will not apply to prisoners convicted of narcotics, foreign acts, espionage, and financial irregularities.
