'Love Guru', 'Deemak' released in Pakistan, worldwide
Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan return to the big screen after three years with Love Guru

(Web Desk): Mega-budget romantic comedy 'Love Guru' and horror-comedy 'Deemak' have been released in Pakistan and worldwide today.
Lollywood stars Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan return to the big screen after three years with Love Guru, while veteran actors like Faisal Qureshi and Samina Peerzada make a comeback through Deemak.
Love Guru marks the first mega-budget, star-studded film to be released in the past three years, with the last major cinematic release being The Legend of Maula Jatt.
Over the last few years, Pakistani cinemas have mostly seen the release of low-budget films with smaller casts. This time, alongside Love Guru, the star-studded Deemak is also gracing cinema screens.

In addition to Faisal Qureshi, Deemak features performances by Samina Peerzada, Javed Sheikh, and Sonya Hussyn, and is directed by Rafi Rashdi.
Love Guru also includes Javed Sheikh, Ahmad Ali Butt, and several other notable actors. The film is directed by Nadeem Baig and written by Vasay Chaudhry.
Both films are expected to compete at the box office; however, according to fans and film critics, Love Guru is likely to outperform Deemak in earnings and set new box office records for Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan.
The premieres for both films took place this week in Karachi, with Deemak premiering first, followed by Love Guru on the evening of June 5th.
