People were relieved in budget; some elements are unhappy with improvement: Azma
PSX increased by 2,100 points, which is manifestation of investor confidence

Lahore: Punjab Information Minister Azma Bokhari has said that relief was given to the people in the budget, but some elements are unhappy with the improvement of the country.
While holding a press conference in Lahore, Azma Bokhari congratulated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his economic team that they provided relief to the salaried class in the federal budget despite the pressure of the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The increase in salaries and pensions is welcome, and this budget will provide support to the middle class.
She stated that there are also elements in the country that are never happy. What a certain group did in the National Assembly yesterday, the entire nation saw. they want Pakistan to suffer. Some people did not like the excellent sanitation arrangements in Punjab.
She added that the stock exchange has increased by 2,100 points, which is a manifestation of investor confidence.
Criticizing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the information minister further said that this is the only party that has never been able to take any positive step in the interest of the country. Now they are running the campaign ‘Let’s go to Washington’. Their YouTubers also fueled this campaign, but yesterday, Barrister Gohar himself said that they did not make any call.
She also stated that honor and disgrace are in the hands of Allah. Allah Almighty has given honor to Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Pakistan. A few YouTubers who are sitting abroad and propagating against the country and institutions are only losing their honor. If they want to throw themselves into the abyss, what can we do?
