Singer Asim Azhar, fiancée Merab part ways
Merub and I have chosen to move forward on separate paths, he said

Karachi: Pakistani singer Asim Azhar and his fiancée, actress Merub Ali, have parted ways.
Asim Azhar announced his separation from fiancée Merub Ali by uploading a story on Instagram.
Addressing fans in the story, Asim wrote, “We wanted to take a moment to share something personal, as we believe we owe that to those who have supported us – fans, friends, and well-wishers”.
After a great deal of thought and reflection, Merub and I have chosen to move forward on separate paths peacefully and mutually, he said.
Asim stated that while they shared meaningful moments and genuinely hoped for a future together, life sometimes takes its own course.
The singer added: “We have the utmost respect for each other and the families involved, and always will. We kindly ask for your understanding and privacy during this time, and hope this is met with the same grace with which it is being shared”.

It is pertinent to note that Asim Azhar and Merub Ali got engaged in 2022.
Earlier, Asim Azhar's close friendship with Hania Aamir had also been a topic of discussion in showbiz circles, and later, news of their breakup also emerged.
