Hearing on K-Electric’s request will be held on June 19

(Web Desk): K-Electric has submitted a request to NEPRA for a reduction of Rs4.69 per unit in electricity prices. The request has been filed under the monthly Fuel Price Adjustment (FPA) mechanism.
According to the NEPRA authority, a hearing on K-Electric’s request will be held on June 19. If approved, Karachi’s consumers could receive a total relief of Rs7.17 billion.
If the proposed reduction is approved, consumers are likely to see a noticeable difference in their electricity bills starting next month.
