Edinburgh: Scotland has moved to the lowest level of coronavirus restrictions as it continues its way out of the lockdown.

According to details, moving to level zero will allow more people to meet indoors and attend wedding ceremonies and funerals. However, some restrictions on outdoor meetings will still be maintained, and people will be required to use face masks.
Following the ease of restrictions, up to eight adults from four households can gather indoors, and up to 10 can meet in a pub or restaurant without any pre-booking.
Up to 15 people from 15 households can meet outdoors, up to 200 can attend weddings and funerals - and soft play centers can reopen.
The Scottish government had modified the restrictions of level zero following the spread of more contagious Delta variant.

The Scottish government is hoping to go beyond level zero from August 09. It reported 1,735 new cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, with 9.8% of tests coming back positive.
The number of patients in hospital fell for a third consecutive day as there were 511 patients who had recently tested positive on Saturday with 46 of them receiving intensive care.
No new deaths of people with recent positive tests were recorded.
