Google Photos revamps image editor with powerful AI tools
Users will be able to easily adjust photo focus, lighting, move subjects, and even reimagine the entire image

(Web Desk): If you still edit your Google Photos using other smartphone apps — which often isn't very convenient — know that there's no longer a need for that.
Google is working on redesigning its Photos feature’s image editor, which will soon be introduced. This update will make editing your Google Photos significantly easier.
With the updated image editor, users will be able to remove the background or even a person from a photo with just a click, or redesign the photo in a completely new way.
Under this updated feature, users will be able to easily adjust photo focus, lighting, move subjects, and even reimagine the entire image.
Some of the key features include:
Auto Frame Tool: This is a faster editing tool that offers cropping suggestions for your photos. If you feel the need to crop or expand your image or add something new, AI technology will handle it.
Reimaging Feature: With this tool, users can add additional elements to their photos — like autumn leaves or green grass. It can also add details or text to an image.
In fact, often it's hard to tell that the changes were made using AI, which is why Google places a watermark on such images to let viewers know that they were generated using AI tools.
QR Code Sharing for Albums: In version 7.30 of Google Photos for Android, a new QR code sharing option has been introduced for albums. With this feature, you can generate a QR code and use it to give others access to your album.
