US may join ‘Israel-Iran war’: Trump 

Washington: US President Donald Trump has expressed the possibility that the United States could join the ongoing war between Israel and Iran.

US President Trump, speaking off-camera to US TV senior journalist Rachel Scott, said that it is possible that we could join this fight between Iran and Israel, but he also made it clear that the United States is not involved in any military action at this time.

Trump expressed his willingness to play the role of mediator in the Iran-Israel war if Russian President Vladimir Putin plays a role; he is open to it.

The US President stated that negotiations on Iran's nuclear program are ongoing and, according to him, now that there are heavy air strikes between Iran and Israel, Iran will likely be more willing to make an agreement.

It is pertinent to note that the situation in the region has become extremely tense after the major attack on Iran by Israel on Friday morning, and then the retaliation by Iran.

Iran had canceled the sixth round of talks with the United States on Sunday, which was previously scheduled.

It is pertinent to note that earlier, US President Donald Trump had said that Iran and Israel should make a deal, and there would be peace between the two countries soon.

In a statement released on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump said that there are many meetings and phone calls, and Iran and Israel will make a deal.

Trump added that this will be the same deal as he made between India and Pakistan. In that deal, the argument for trade with the United States was used, and it was presented to two excellent leaders who could make quick decisions, and everything stopped.
