Death anniversaries of Mushtaq Ahmad Yusufi, Khawaja Pervaiz being observed today
Yusufi spent his entire life in the service of Urdu Literature


(Web Desk): The seventh death anniversary of Mushtaq Ahmad Yusufi, a renowned Pakistani satirist or humourist, is being observed today. He departed this world at the age of 94.
Yusufi spent his entire life in the service of Urdu Literature. His work has been translated into many languages. Moreover, he recieved Sitara-i-Imtiaz Award in 1999 and Hilal-e-Imtiaz in 2002, which are the highest literary honours bestowed by the government of Pakistan.
He would always be remembered for his work among his fans and followers.
Khawaja Pervaiz's death anniversary
The 14th death anniversary of composor and lyricist Khwaja Perveiz is also being observed today. Perveiz was a famous Pakistani lyricist, composor and song writer of both Urdu and Punjabi languages. He left this world in 2011 at the age of 80 years.
His real name was Khwaja Ghulam Mohayuddin. Pervaiz was born at Amritsar in 1932 and served film industry for almost 40 years.
