Jawad Ahmed responds to Fiza Ali’s ‘dhobi’ remark
Jawad Ahmed slams Fiza Ali’s remark as ‘foolish’ and ‘ignorant’

(Web Desk): Singer Jawad Ahmed has responded to actress Fiza Ali’s comment referring to him as a “dhobi” (washerman).
A few days ago, during a light-hearted segment on a private news channel, Fiza Ali humorously suggested alternative professions for various celebrities. While speaking about Jawad Ahmed, she remarked that if he weren’t a singer, he’d be a washerman, “because he’s really good at giving people a wash” — implying he often criticizes others harshly.
At the time of her comment, Jawad Ahmed wasn’t present on the show, so he didn’t respond immediately. However, after the clip of her remark went viral on social media, a user asked Jawad Ahmed for his opinion.
In a TikTok video shared later, Jawad Ahmed reacted by recalling his first meeting with Fiza Ali. He said that during their initial encounter, she claimed to be a big fan of his work and mentioned that she used to dance to his songs.
He further stated that his hit song ‘Mehndi’, which played a key role in the success of the drama ‘Mehndi’, featured Fiza Ali as one of the four main actresses. According to him, she became a star because of that drama and, indirectly, because of his song.
Jawad Ahmed added that before ‘Mehndi’, Fiza Ali wasn’t well known, and her recognition came through the show. Therefore, in his view, she should be grateful to him.
Concluding his remarks, he called her comment “foolish” and said it reflected her “ignorance.”
