(Web Desk): Karachi experienced another mild earthquake on Friday evening, with the National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC) recording a magnitude of 2.8.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the tremor occurred at 5:28pm, with its epicenter located 13 kilometers southeast of Korangi at a shallow depth of 4 kilometers.
Though no injuries or property damage were reported, the tremors caused panic among residents in several areas. This marks the 48th low-intensity earthquake in Karachi since June 1, highlighting a notable increase in seismic activity in the region.
