FP spokesperson says US strikes violate all norms of international law

Islamabad: Pakistan has issued a response to the US attacks on Iranian nuclear installations.
According to the spokesperson for the Foreign Office, Pakistan strongly condemns the US strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
The spokesperson stated that these American attacks are a continuation of Israeli aggression and expressed deep concern over the escalating tensions in the region. The spokesperson emphasized that these strikes violate all norms of international law.
The spokesperson further stated that Iran has the right to self-defense under the United Nations Charter, and the ongoing aggression against Iran has led to an unprecedented increase in tension and violence.
The spokesperson added that further escalation will have serious consequences for the entire region and the world. Ensuring the safety and protection of civilians is essential, and it is necessary to bring the conflict to an immediate end. All parties must adhere to international law and humanitarian principles.
The spokesperson also reiterated that dialogue and diplomacy are the only viable solutions to the region’s problems, and a peaceful resolution of the crisis is essential in accordance with the principles of the UN Charter.
