Two of the children are reported to be in critical condition


Nowshera: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Nowshera district, seven children from the same family fell ill after consuming contaminated syrup, with two of them reported to be in critical condition.
The incident occurred in the Jalozai refugee market area of Pabbi, where the children’s condition deteriorated after drinking the toxic syrup.
They were immediately shifted to the hospital for medical treatment, where doctors declared the condition of two children as critical.
According to rescue officials, the children had jointly bought a bottle of syrup from a neighborhood shop to beat the heat. Shortly after consuming it, all of them became unwell at the same time.
The affected children include Iqra, Khadija, Bibi Khola, Abu Zar Bilal, Asma, and Gul Rehman, among others.
