Swat: The body of another tourist drowned in the Swat River has been recovered.
According to the district administration, 70 people were trapped in different places in the Swat River yesterday morning due to a sudden flash flood, out of which 55 were rescued, and the search for the rest was underway.
Now it is being told that the body of another tourist who drowned in the Swat River has been recovered, after which the death toll has reached 10, while the search for 3 people is underway.
Yesterday morning, a few families who were having breakfast at a hotel on the riverbank at the Swat bypass had landed in the dry part of the river when a flash flood suddenly came and swept everyone away.
According to the rescue, the affected family from Sialkot had come to Swat for a visit and were having breakfast sitting on the bank of the river. However, due to the rain, the river overflowed rapidly, and 10 members of the same family were swept away.

Due to climate change, an unusual increase in temperature and rapid melting of glaciers, sudden floods in the rivers are now becoming the norm.
